At Delta, we believe that no one better connects the world, and were looking for a social expert to help us do that, one post at a time. The Social Media Specialist will help us reinspire travel, showcase our customer experience and differentiate our brand. From creating content and developing campaigns to exploring new platforms and creative executions, youll be responsible for driving Deltas messaging across our social media channels. As a member of our team, youll have the opportunity and responsibility to create content that is seen by millions of people every day. Were looking for the people that have a passion for social, a love for travel, and are excited about the opportunity to help shape our brand. How youll help us Keep Climbing (key responsibilities): Lead development of social media campaigns that position Delta as the airline of choice for current and future fliers Create, manage and post content across Deltas social channels for both organic and paid campaigns Identify and capitalize on the latest trends and best practices in social Work closely with media team and agencies to add input to distribution plans and align on strategies Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to bring social-first approaches and best practices to projects Bring new ideas to the table to keep Delta top-of-mind as an innovative brand in the marketing space Work with in-house designers and external agencies to shape creative assets for national, international and regionally-focused projects Manage deadlines and keep projects on track for multiple stakeholders on multiple teams What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles Minimum of 4 years experience working in social media field Substantial social media or content development experience with large consumer brands (brand or agency support) Part social nerd, part analytically-minded creative, and of course, part travel aficionado Strong knowledge of the social paid media landscape Ability to move quickly to pull together plan inclusive of creative and copy Flawless writing skills and strong verbal/presentation skills Ability to contribute from development of strategic presentations to posting content.
