Job Description : American Youth Academy is an Islamic-based private school located in Tampa, Florida; one of the fastest-growing communities in the entire country. AYA was established in 1992 and currently serves 750 students grades pre-K through 12, with enrollment increasing every year. One of AYA’s top priorities is to create an environment and structure that allows all students to engage in experiences that prepare them for the future. As enrollment continues to grow, we are looking for additional staff and administrators to join our team to help us with our next step into the future.Basic Functions & ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Head of School, overseeing the school interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms, analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in consumer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build an online community, using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the brand of the company.Job Type: Full-Time, Salary, Exempt, 12 months.Candidate Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or other related fields.3-5 years of experience in social media and content creation required.Experience in people leadership is preferred. Experience working with a School, Preferred.Search Engine Marketing experience is a plus.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned:Implement and administer the social media and content strategies across social platforms while understanding the impact social media has on the organization.Develop strategies for growing our social communities and increasing engagement within those communities as they grow, including a mix of paid and unpaid tactics.Write compelling, on-brand copy for social media, including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, and website, email, and blog content in support of year-round events and campaigns.Utilize data and analytics to make and/or adjust marketing campaigns.Optimize content for search enginesTrack and report on key metrics across social media channels and use findings to maximize growth opportunities.Execute new and innovative social media strategies.Maintain and utilize a social media budget to be used on the sponsored advertisement.Collaborate with different departments to develop custom content.Oversee creation of graphics, videos, and other media for use on social media.Plan, implement and analyze social media strategyCollaborate with marketing and creative teams to create engaging, relevant contentMeasure social media campaign key performance indicators (KPI)Analyze user engagement and adjust strategy to meet SEO best practicesCatalog and report results for client reviewSkills and AbilitiesA passion and strong understanding of the school mission and values.Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our organization’s various types of content.An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale social media strategies and tactics.Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.Understanding of modern digital media and design technologies and platforms.Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.Passion for discovering innovative ways to connect with different demographics through digital mediums.Demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels of business stakeholders to understand and interpret business requirements for the creation of deliverables.Proven experience creating high-level and dynamic design solutions including marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and reports.Experience using Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign, is a plus.Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, and frequently required to walk or stand; lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds a distance of 50 feet; perform repeated pushing and pulling movements; reach with hands and arms; and use the hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
