Job Description : | UX and SEO Project Manager (Annual Bonus up to $24K)The UX and SEO Project Manager is a member of the Content, Communications and Marketing team (CCM) and reports to the Director of Marketing. This person works across teams, especially with the Product Management and Innovation team (PMI) and R&D, to transform JMX Brands’ ecommerce websites into high-performing, user-friendly, high-converting sites. This person contributes to the day-to-day execution of website conversion rate and search engine optimization efforts as well as manages UX and SEO projects that require multi-team involvement, applying customer discovery, UX best practices, and competitive analysis.Goals include: Increase organic website traffic at least 10% YOY; improve conversion rate to .4%; ensure Amish Furniture search term ranks at 3 or higher, grow mobile revenues, and contribute to overall increase in revenue for the company.Responsibilities:· Identify and prioritize UX-driven improvements to continuously elevate the website experience in context of company and user/customer goals.· Lead projects and work collaboratively with coworkers across teams to develop and deliver intuitive user experiences.· Coordinate continuous testing and evaluation of website functionality and experience.· Present work and communicate design decisions in clear and compelling ways at various stages of the design process.· Work with agencies to ensure completion of SEO and UX audits. Ensure implementation of audit recommendations.· Research and make content recommendations for SEO success. Work with CCM and PMI to drive SEO and UX in content creation.· Work with R&D to ensure UX and SEO best practices are properly implemented.· Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Work closely with R&D and PMI on these recommendations.· Assist with link building strategy.· Research, recommend and support onboarding of new technologies that are needed for website UX and/or SEO optimization, including close interactions with R&D.· Monitor search engine algorithm updates to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape.· Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences.· Gather feedback from users/customers on their experience interfacing on company websites and products.· Assist in training content creators in SEO and CRO best practices.· Track KPIs and UX metrics regularly with the intention of consistently improving the user experience as well as driving business results.· Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:· 3-5 years experience in helping teams manage web and digital projects.· Understanding of website SEO and UX. Certifications in SEO and UX or completion of certifications within six months of hire.· Experience in eCommerce· Proven ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.· Comfortable generating reports from and/or using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console.· Experience with A/B testing, site analytics, and other quantitative measures of customer experience.· Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.· Experience using a CMS such as WordPress.· Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with a team player mentality.· Experience working with various levels of the organization including technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, business administration, or related field.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $67,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payExperience:Keyword research: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
